Sweet whey powder

Sweet whey powder is a product with high lactose content. It is pulverised from the whey arising as a secondary product of cheese manufacturing.
It is mostly used in piglet feeds and milk replacers for calves. In the case of piglets, it is preferred because of its better taste and lower ash content as compared to acid whey powder. Sweet whey powder is the best protein and carbohydrate source for young animals.
