Fish oils are available in different qualities on the market. We are distributing European products from two different sources. Our premium quality crude or refined fish oils are mostly made from tuna.
They contain a high concentration of poly-unsaturated fatty acids (EPA – eicosapentaeonic acid, DHA – docosahexaeonic acid).
The organism of mammals is unable to produce these fatty acids so they have to be provided through fodder. Besides the above-mentioned Ω3 fatty acids, they are also rich in Ω6 fatty acids.
These oils are distributed in 1000-liter IBC tanks and 200-liter barrels.
Salmon oil is recommended to use in porcine feeds, aquacultures and petfoods. It is a clear, orange coloured product manufactured exclusively from salmon.
Baltic fish oil is a dense liquid with some sediment. In case of spraying, installing a sieve might be necessary. The remaining sediment can be used as a valuable feed raw material.
