Concentrated protein produced from bacterial biomass used for the fermentation process during the production of L-glutamic acid. It has a high, at least 75% protein content, which is furthermore 90% digestible. Its advantage is that it can be fed to any animal species. Based on the position of EFSA (European Food Safety Authority), the following mixing ratio is suggested:
pig feed (starter, grower, finisher) | up to 10% |
ruminants | up to 11% |
poultry (broiler and layer) | up to 8% |
fish feeds | up to 10% |
